LUXURE MAGAZINE PARTY - DRESS CODE: FEARLESS


On Sunday night the Violet Darkling team, opera singer Hayley Westerna and The Londsdale Boys Club headed to the heart of Soho where Luxure Magazine were holding their 5th  Anniversary party, Fearless. Luxure were celebrating with class to launch seven limited edition magazine covers designed by Manolo Blahnik, Nicola Formichetti, Phil Bicker, Atelier-lb, Warren Du Preez, Nick Thornton Jones, McAlpine Miller and David Downton. After a pre-partyBellini at Souk, we headed to The Ivy and followed the red carpet to a lilac-lit glass elevator reminiscent of Charlie and the Chocolate factory! We were greeted by delectable canapés and a menu of cocktails using Johnny Walker Gold Label whisky. It wasn’t long before a beautiful Van Cleef Arpels ballerina appeared and took centre stage in a small glass display window, performing a graceful routine for over an hour - we were mesmerised!


Our black rhodium plated tarsier necklace caught the eye of US rock band Early Morning Rebel who are currently on tour in London. Their debut single 'Lifeboat' has just been featured on Grey's Anatomy - very impressive! After trying every cocktail on the menu we danced to the seriously stylish New York trio the Misshapes where model Leigh Lezark took to the decks. The most fearlessly dressed had to be the guy with the crazy headpiece....scary!
