Where did your passion for jewellery originate from?
I always had a passion for jewellery but before going to Central St Martins and the Royal College of Art I initially trained as a fashion stylist inspired by my great grandmother who set up the first beauty school after WW2. I didn’t like the fact that you didn’t have a tangible product at the end so I asked myself  ’what i really wanted to do.’ I looked at vehicle design but that was quite male oriented and fashion but there were already hundreds of people doing it. At the time the jewellery scene hadn’t really exploded so I decided to train as a jeweller.

Which designers are you most excited about at the moment?
We get approached by so many brands so we are very careful about how we curate the site. We have all the usual suspects Tomasz DonocikAna de CostaTina Lillenthal who are some of my favourites. Violet Darkling is a really interesting brand with a very nice proposition. Their marketing piece and story has been really nicely put together. Another favourite is fashion jeweller Sahani who creates incredible catwalk pieces for Victoria’s secret. She is incredibly talented and so incredibly modest. I am very fond of Sho fine jewellery of which we stock both their bespoke and main line collection. Jessica de Lotz is adorable and a creative genius; she lives, breaths and creates her brand. As you can see it would be hard for me to pick a firm favourite.
